'Name the 2008 Book Week Critter'
World renowned Australian illustrator, Shaun Tan has created this wonderous critter for 2008 Children’s Book Week, but it doesn’t have a name!
We'd like you to come up with a name for Shaun’s Book Week Critter.
We will shortlist your suggestions and narrow the choice to just five. Then you get to vote online for your favourite, and student who nomiminated the winning name
gets a fabulous prize provided by Faber-Castell.
This competition is now closed. The winners will be announced soon.
'Design your own Shortlist Book Cover'
Using Faber-Castell pencils, you can design your own book cover based on one of this year's shortlisted books. There are fabulous prizes on offer
for the both the winners and runners-up in each category as well as a prize for the school of the winning entry. Entries should be submitted
to your local
CBCA branch and the winner will be announced on this site on Monday 18 August 2008
This competition is now closed. The winners will be announced soon.
And... as if that weren't enough, Faber-Castell will be providing a discount voucher, available at the end of voting, to all Junior Judges' Project participants.
